In this full day workshop the following elements will be addressed and put into practice:
Stress and strain; the difference in-between, and the different effects of these two factors on the nervous system of the human body.
Conscious breathing; the importance of conscious breathing will be addressed, and various exercises introduced that help increase the balance of the nervous system in the daily routine of everyday life.
The importance of movement, nutrition and quality of sleep.
Connection as a basic need for the human body, mind and soul. Learn to connect with yourself, others and the environment/nature.
The three pillars of the Wim Hof method; breathwork, gradual cold exposure and mindset/commitment.
Participants will be guided through a breathing exercise and for those who are interested, it will be possible to be guided into an ice bath. It is important to know that cold water immersion is not mandatory for participants.
Research shows that regular practice of conscious breathwork and/or cold exposure training:
Reduces stress and pain
Increases resilience, energy and improves sleep
Strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation
Increases balance and improves mental and physical well-being
The maximum number of participants is 14 people, as it is important that every participants gets an individual experience while also getting the benefits of a group dynamic.

Please note that it is not adviced that pregnant women as well as persons suffering from epilepsy or serious cardiovascular disease should practice the Wim Hof method.
